Back for 2025, we are off to Penrith to explore the beautiful Eden District within the heart of    Cumbria. 
 
Potter around the cobbled lanes of the town and explore the independent shops and boutiques before you head to Penrith Castle and learn all about the history of the castle dating back as far as  the 14th century. (admission not included).  Be sure to stop in on the town’s specialist restaurants and foodie shops - from chutneys and cheddars to fresh local produce, Penrith is the place to get some tasty treats.
 
Perhaps you’ll take the opportunity to join a walking tour or hire a bike for the day and explore the local area and cycle routes? We do recommend a visit to the Lowther Estate too if you head on a bike ride!
