Martin Mere Wetland Centre, Southport 11/04/2025

Our famous Martin Mere Wetland Centre trip is BACK for 2025! 
 
The centre is something very special with a whole host of things to do and get involved in throughout the day. 
 
Walk around the centre and see over 70 wetland species from all over the world including flamingos, spoonbills, otters, swans and many more. You’ll have the opportunity to attend the Otter Talk & Feed session and get up and close and personal with the local residents Penny and Kenai. 
 
It’s not just about our wetland friends though - be sure to head to the Bird Observatory too and see who is in residence there too. Will you see any pink footed geese or Shelducks? 
 
Do you fancy doing a spot of pond dipping as well? 
 
You’ll be supplied with your own pond dipping equipment and a chance to see if you can find any Water Boatman, Nymphs or even Water Fleas!  
 
With many more activities including a Reedbed Walk, fascinating talks running throughout the day and even a canoe boat ride on offer, it’s guaranteed to be a wonderful day all round!
